Free Public Skating

The City of Edmonton offers free public skating.

If you'd like to perfect your skating skills, you can try one indoor arenas.

The ice is a lot smoother, but you do need to take your own skates.

Hawrelak Park - Skating Event: March 6 2008

Hawrelak Park is nestled along the North Saskatchewan River in South Edmonton.

The park has its own man-made lake that's turned into a skating rink for the winter.

This skating event was one of the highlights of the term. It was truly appreciated by all the participating Grant MacEwan students as well as staff.
